Lake Trip 2017 (number one)

We enjoyed our first of two trips to the lake this summer. The kids are all at such a great age to be able to enjoy all that the lake has to offer. We played hard each day and slept well at night!

The highlight of our trip was having our neighbors and friends down for a few days. The Peterson family (which includes Caleb's most favorite friend, Alec) came down Monday through Friday. We crammed in lots of fun with them and everyone had a great time!

Last Days

This school year REALLY seemed to fly by. I sure hope that isn't the new trend. These kids are growing up way too fast!

Joel's last day of preschool.

Leah's last day of first grade.

Caleb's last day of third grade.

Last day together at Tyler Elementary School.

All good things.....

As the spring months pass by, we are reminded of the age old phrase "all good things come to and end". It's hard to believe another year has flown by, but we've filled it with so many awesome memories, and for that, we are thankful!

We are thankful for another wonderful year at Awana.

Sara is thankful for an amazing group of women that she co-lead in a Bible study all year.

We are thankful for a final year of preschool....and for all the traditions and memories they carry on....like the annual trip to Ranch Frostie.

We are thankful for Leah being able to participate in another year of Girl Scouts. This year, she bridged from Daisies to Brownies.

We are thankful for a year with amazing teachers. This was an end-of-the-year display outside of Caleb's class. They sure know Caleb well!

We are thankful for Grandma and her willingness to watch Joel every Wednesday so that Mommy could volunteer in Caleb and Leah's class. He sure had fun while he was with her....endless snacks, shows, and crafts :)

We are thankful for another great year in sports. Caleb did football, basketball, and baseball. Leah did gymnastics and soccer. Next year, Joel will be joining the fun by doing football.
