Another Halloween has come and gone. We had a blast getting ready for Halloween and enjoyed all the celebrations!
Tyler and I had fun at an adults-only costume party. Though I'm not creative at all....and some of the costumes there were downright AMAZING....I think we did okay as Waldo and Carmen Sandiego.
Leah got to go to a local bakery with her Brownie troop and each girl decorated a Halloween house. She was quite the artist with all the frosting and candy!
Carving pumpkins with Grandpa, Grandma, TiTi, Nana Pam, and Ed is always one of our favorite traditions.
I'm so thankful I was able to help at all three Halloween parties this year. There sure is a big difference between how fourth graders dress and celebrate compared to kindergartners!
Since the kids only have a half day of school on Halloween, we decided to kill time in the afternoon by visiting a local nursing home to "reverse trick-or-treat". We knocked on the doors and handed out treats to the residents. It was really special to be able to bring a smile to their faces and the kids had a blast.
The final part of all the celebrating is trick-or-treating. Though it was quite cold, the kids were troopers and came home with more candy than any family could ever want or need!
