Zoo Lights

For many years, we had a membership to Brookfield Zoo and always heard great things about their zoo lights at Christmastime. We attempted to go once, when there was a rare December evening with decent temps. Apparently, hundreds of other people in Chicago had the same idea, because we ended up waiting in traffic for an hour before we turned around and headed home. 

This year, we had the same great December temps and decided to take a trip to Lincoln Park Zoo for their zoo lights. We got there a bit early, but before the crowds. By the time the sun went down, the whole place was lit up and was really neat to see. We definitely enjoyed being able to finally check this off of our Christmas bucket list!
